Leading international PR partnership holds its EMEA regional meeting in Cape Town, South Africa, and reinforces its expansion into the African region

Top PR professionals from the Europe, Middle East and Africa region of Worldcom Public Relations Group, the world’s leading partnership of independently owned public relations counseling firms, gathered in Cape Town last week for its bi-annual meeting.

The leading directors of Worldcom agencies held strategic meetings and workshops to share knowledge about PR and business in the EMEA region.

The conference held at the Mount Nelson hotel in Cape Town also adopted various innovative ways of working globally and shared Worldcom methodologies.

“Cape Town is the home of Worldcom EMEA’s newest partner, Lange 360, and a launching pad for our growing expansion into the African continent. South Africa is already a key market in terms of PR and marketing communications and there are many new emerging opportunities,” said Corinna
Voss, Chair of the Worldcom PR Group EMEA.

Voss who represents one of the top PR consultancies in Germany said the partners were overwhelmed by the beauty of South Africa and its forward thinking business and communications’ campaigns.

“We see huge potential for growth on the African continent and are delighted to be collaborating with the well-positioned strategic communications team at Lange 360 who represents the global Worldcom group in South Africa.”

Worldcom PR Group EMEA offers customized local and global services to its clients. She said the group was growing significantly with 6 new partner agencies having been invited to join the network in the last 12 months, after passing the group’s stringent requirements and peer review processes. She said the group was looking to expand its footprint further on the African continent with Lange 360 as its lead agency in the Southern Africa region.
