Clinique selects Fashion Media to launch new Chubby Stick lipstick brand
Clinique recently selected Unlimited’s Fashion Media to generate awareness and sales of Clinique Chubby Stick, its new lipstick range, by dominating 12 Red Square stores across the country.
Fashion Media utilised its consumer engaging Window Displays, Beepa Sleeves, A1 Posters and Gondola End media platforms during the two-week campaign, to capture the attention of upmarket, female consumers between the ages of 20 and 40.
Clinique’s Chubby Stick’s unique selling point (USP) is its funky shape. It’s definitely not your average run of the mill lipstick.
“Clinique’s Chubby Stick USP, combined with Fashion Media’s consumer purchase decision influencing media platforms, enticed consumers into the Red Square stores to ensure interaction with product and generate increased sales,” says Fashion Media’s chief executive officer Sean Reed.
“Our Window Displays are geared to specifically ensure that consumers enter the store to have a look at and even try the new product on display. If you can’t get consumers into the store in the first place, they will never try the product,” he adds.
Once inside the store Fashion Media’s A1 posters and Gondola Ends drew the consumers’ attention directing them to Clinique’s Chubby Stick.
Fashion Media holds the exclusive rights to static media within Red Square, Edgars, Boardmans and Edgars Active Retail outlets within Southern Africa.
