Strike Productions, a Johannesburg based technical support company, has partnered with AV Alliance, specialists in the fields of sound, lighting, projection and information technology. Together the companies have formed Strike Alliance, which aims to be a true one-stop shop for the eventing and production industries - combining turnkey production services with unique technical solutions. The partnership will enable Strike Alliance to extend its footprint in South Africa, serving clients across the country.
“I am proud that Strike Productions has taken this major step to join forces with AV Alliance,” says Leah McCrae, Strike Productions - Managing Director. “The combination of our companies will ensure that we continue to deliver the highest level of services and offerings to our clients across cities. My new partners have shown nothing but great leadership and support during this merger and I'm extremely grateful for the unanimous support received from staff, suppliers and our clients.”
Drawing from the considerable expertise and experience of the former Strike and AV Alliance teams, Strike Alliance is well equipped to provide solutions that have application to any creative concept and any size of event. The company currently provides world-class technical support for over 1,100 events a year. Unlike other technical support and event companies, Strike Alliance is able to provide a full range of both creative and support services - such as in-house account management, technical and creative input, and in-house designers and set-builders.
“AV Alliance and Strike Productions have historically had a strong regional dominance in Cape Town and Johannesburg respectively,” says Ian Cawood of AV Alliance. “It made good sense for us to consolidate our position and create a large national technical production solution to offer all our respective clients. The time was right for a consolidation, and we are proud of what we have created for the event industry in Strike Alliance."
Strike Alliance specialises in corporate events, road shows, conferences, product launches, gala dinners, year-end functions, weddings, parties, trade fairs and exhibitions, television broadcasts and fashion shows.
“Strike Alliance will build on the success of both companies who have an outstanding history of client focus and we will keep our customer centric culture going forward,” adds McCrae. “Even with the growth, we will remain flexible enough in our service to accommodate all clients’ needs, taking their concepts live to audience with passion and skill.”
