Consulting, research, and risk management service company, PMR Africa recently named PR Worx as the best Public Relations (PR) company in South Africa (small category), in an independent survey it conducted.
PR Worx founder and managing director, Madelain Roscher, received the highest rating as the Most Admired PR Personality in South Africa by that same survey. These accolades follow the announcement of the company being named the City of Johannesburg’s Best Public Relations Company by PMR in 2010.
The survey was directed at large listed companies in South Africa and surveyed companies and institutions against specific criteria and the PR industry, in particular, across 41 specific attributes. Some of these attributes included accountability, attention to detail, credibility, strategic planning and implementation, and an understanding of clients’ businesses.
Roscher maintains that the favourable rating of PR Worx by the respondents is a vote of confidence for the agency, and proves that its clients are more than satisfied with the results the award winning firm has achieved for them.
“This acknowledgment from PMR Africa can be linked to our firm’s clearly defined vision of commitment to creating value, establishing solid client relationships built on trust and honesty, and a sharp focus on meeting clients’ objectives. Our staff pride themselves on understanding our clients’ brands and needs, which allow us to become an integral part of their communications team.
“As a small but focused consultancy, we pay closer attention to factors that would often go unnoticed in a larger PR environment, and thus, we are able to treat every client, target, message, and media with equal importance.”
She notes that this approach has ultimately resulted in outstanding results for PR Worx’s clients, with communications campaigns producing millions of rands worth of positive media coverage, and have furthered clients’ core business objectives.
Founded in 2001, PR Worx has managed to effectively assist many of South Africa’s largest enterprises with their public relations and marketing campaigns.
Roscher says that the company’s ten year journey has been characterised by passion, a determination to be results-driven and client-focused, and an acknowledgment of the need to accurately interpret changing communications’ trends.
Roscher concludes that the award will spur the company on to even greater heights.
“With our intimate understanding of the PR industry, and impressive track record, we are able to attain tangible results, and more often than not, exceed our clients’ expectations. We plan to achieve even more impressive results for our clients, and to grow our client base by setting the bar even higher in terms of the standards expected from a PR consultancy.”
