Waltloo Meat and Chicken, located in Katlehong, recently selected The Media Connection’s brand activation subsidiary, the Brand ConneXion, to get feet through its door.
The Brand ConneXion provides marketers with extra mileage in the community radio sphere, with branded vehicles that troll local communities to get consumers to the activation site, and also take the message on air via the local radio station.
“The Waltloo Meat and Chicken activation saw live music, entertainers and popular DJs cross live to Kasie FM community radio, whilst an on-the-ground promotion captured consumer attention in the busy shopping complex,” says Simon Milne, Operations Manager of The Brand ConneXion.
Branded promoters and MCs crossed live to the local community radio station during the activation, ensuring impressive foot traffic went through Waltloo Meat and Chicken’s door.
“Our new gig rig and media platform is all about engaging consumers so that brands are kept top-of-mind,” says Milne.
